It’s a run of form that sees the Toffees sit a comfortable seven points clear of the drop zone, an incredibly impressive feat considering they were deducted 10-points earlier on in the campaign.
As for Tottenham, they suffered a terrible spell of form throughout November and the start of December, but Ange Postecoglou looks to have turned things around as they come into this one off the back of two consecutive victories.
Their crucial wins over Newcastle and Nottingham Forest sees them occupy fifth place in the table, just a point shy of the top four and reigning champions Manchester City, and six points adrift of league leaders and bitter rivals Arsenal.
