Senegal vs Cameroon Preview and Prediction
Senegal got off to a flying start in their opening fixture, beating Gambia 3-0 thanks to a brace from Lamine Camara and Pape Gueye.
The current holders are the favourites to retain their trophy, boasting star names such as Sadio Mane, Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gueye.
Their opponents put in a less impressive performance in round one of AFCON, being held to a 1-1 stalemate by 10-men Guinea.
Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, was supposed to play the opening match just 24 hours after United’s 1-1 draw with Spurs – however a delayed flight left him out of the squad.
Given their opening performances, we expect the 2021 champions to reign victorious on Friday evening and win by a narrow margin.

Senegal vs Cameroon Tip One: Sadio Mane To Score @ 23/10
The former Liverpool player is one of the star players in the tournament and many were shocked when Mane did not score on the opening day – despite registering an assist.
Playing his football for Al-Nassr, the 31-year-old has contributed to 18 goals in 26 appearances (12G+6A) and should be full of confidence in this tournament.
Mane was awarded with the player of the tournament in 2021 and we expect the former Bayern Munich player to flourish on Friday – scoring against Cameroon.

Senegal have lost just one game from their last 15 in all competitions and are the favourites to retain the trophy this year.
Cameroon have failed to win in their last three matches and have scored just three goals in the process – as they continue to struggle in front of goal.
