Since the beginning of 2014, Jennie Candlish has a solid 12 from 39 record (30.8% strike-rate) when using a first-time visor on one of her jumpers for a profit of £73.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. LOUGH CARRA, runner-up on his latest start at Huntingdon may be able to go one place better in the new headgear combination.

BALTIC VOYAGE (system – Ralph Beckett. 3yos, second run since gelded)
Ralph Beckett does well with three-year-olds on their second start after being gelded, scoring with 29 of the 122 qualifiers (23.8% strike-rate) for a profit of £55.17 to a £1 level stake at SP. BALTIC VOYAGE shaped well on his comeback run/first start since gelded in a handicap at the York Dante meeting in May and can get off the mark at the sixth attempt.

SHABS (system – Sire Joseph Parr stable switchers, second start)
Trainer Joseph Parr does well with horses he takes over from other yards, especially at the second time of asking, scoring with five of the 24 qualifiers for a profit of £19.95 to a £1 level stake at SP. SHABS made an encouraging debut for his new yard at Lingfield and has sound claims of ending his 21-race maiden status.
