ARARAT (system – David Simcock, 2yo newcomers, Jamie Spencer riding)
David Simcock’s juvenile newcomers have a useful record when Jamie Spencer takes the ride, landing 12 of their 55 starts (21.8% strike-rate) for a profit of £26.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those who started in the front five in the betting were 12 from 39 (+£42.50). His final two qualifiers in 2021 both won (8-1 and 3-1) and ARARAT is his first one of the current campaign.

MARISTELLA (system – New Bay handicappers, top three finish last time out)
Progeny of New Bay have a fine record when trying to back up a good recent effort. The handicappers who finished in the top three on their latest outing are 55 from 147 (37.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £115.99 to a £1 level stake at SP. MARISTELLA contributed to those figures when successful at 4-1 on her handicap debut at Galway last week and can follow up.

GEORGE BANCROFT (system – Charlie Longsdon, September)
Prior to Monday’s racing, Charlie Longsdon was 61 from 234 (26.1% strike-rate) with his runners in the month of September for a profit of £79.35 to a £1 level stake at SP. GEORGE BANCROFT has proved expensive to follow since scoring on his hurdles debut at Fontwell last autumn but looks worth chancing on his first start following a wind operation.
WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30
EAGLE PRINCE (system – Free Eagle, first-time visor & Free Eagle, 1m+ on the AW)
Progeny of the sire Free Eagle have a five from 19 record when fitted with a first-time visor for a profit of £16.75 to a £1 level stake at SP. Free Eagle offspring also do well when competing over 1m or further on the all-weather, landing 43 of their 220 starts (19.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £38.74 (expected winners = 28.5). EAGLE PRINCE qualifies on both angles and looks very interesting on his all-weather debut tonight.
