THEFASTNTHECURIOUS (system – Fast Company, soft or heavy going, Flat)
Progeny of the sire Fast Company tend to relish soft or heavy going, with the Flat runners winning 130 of their 952 starts (13.7%) for a profit of £44.94 to a £1 level stake at SP. THEFASTNTHECURIOUS has only had two outings on ground softer than good and they produced her best RPR (Racing Post Rating) – a 33-1 second of 14 in a 1m1f Sandown handicap on good to soft going – and her joint-third best, a fifth-place finish at Yarmouth. She could improve for today’s deep going on her debut for John Flint and is worth a speculative interest at a big price.

TIBERIO FORCE (system – Simon Whitaker, late-season handicappers, soft or heavy going)
My angle with the Simon Whitaker yard is to back their handicappers in the second half (August to November) of the Flat turf season when the going is officially soft or heavy. This system has thrown up 18 winners from 96 qualifiers since 2010 for a profit of £37.03 to a £1 level stake at SP. I should probably extend this to the all-weather as they had an 80-1 winner at Wolverhampton last week! TIBERIO FORCE has yet to race beyond 1m4f but today’s 2m trip could suit and he’s worth chancing at an each-way price.
