Williams Buick rides Doncaster extremely well and had we backed all his mounts in handicaps we’d have won 51 of our 225 bets (22.7% strike-rate) and made a profit of £69.57 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 34.68). THAPA VC, the first of his four such rides today, could never get competitive after blowing the start at Leicester last time and is worth another chance.

ANNIE LAW (system – James Fanshawe, Doncaster)
Since the beginning of 2015, James Fanshawe has won with 50 of his 284 runners at Doncaster (17.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £59.10 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners 41). He usually instructs his jockeys to give his runners a patient ride and such tactics are often favoured here. ANNIE LAW, the final of his three runners today, finished third here on her penultimate start and wasn’t best drawn when filling the sane position at Leicester last time. She can break her turf duck this afternoon.
