CATWALK MODEL (system – Amy Murphy, removal of headgear)
Since the beginning of 2016, Amy Murphy is 12 from 79 with horses who were running without headgear, having worn some form of it last time out, for a profit of £46.58 to a £1 level stake at SP. CATWALK MODEL, well drawn in stall 1, goes without her usual hood and might be able to build on last month’s maiden victory.

SHANTOU SUNSET (system – James Moffatt, stable switchers)
James Moffatt has a fine record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards, scoring with 12 of the 54 qualifiers since 2015 for a profit of £97.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. He’s six from 15 since the start of 2021 for a profit of £60.50, suggesting that SHANTOU SUNSET could be worth an interest in this 3m1.5f handicap hurdle, despite the overnight drift.

CURRENT OPTION (system – time of year)
CURRENT OPTION rarely shows much in the first half of the year, scoring just once from 18 starts from January to June. He’s won six of his 21 starts from July 1st onwards (+£16.50 to a £1 level stake at SP) and has finished in the frame on numerous other occasions. All the wins came over trips short of 1m but just about stays this far and is worth an each-way punt.
