STARVOSKI had wind surgery before her chase debut at the end of last year but failed to fire on three attempts over fences, finishing a well beaten ninth of 11 and pulling up twice (stopped quickly) in her two other runs. The removal of a tongue-tie and the fitting of first-time cheekpieces seemed to work the oracle on her next start when she reverted back to hurdles at Uttoxeter and scored in emphatic style. She made her seasonal return at Ffos Las in a handicap chase in the retained cheeckpieces and ran very well, travelling strongly throughout, before a couple of late mistakes took their toll and she was forced to settle for a close-up fourth of 11. She should strip fitter this time and can bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
