YARMOUTH JOCKEYS
NEIL CALLAN has been riding well since returning from Hong Kong and looks worth a buy in the YARMOUTH JOCKEYS market with Spreadex. His first mount, BELO HORIZONTE, looked unlucky when third in the first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton last week and can re-coup losses in the 3.00b with the headgear retained. SKUKUZA belied his 66-1 SP to run second, just over one length behind the winner, at Newbury on her debut last month and go one better for bang-in-form Ed Dunlop in the 3.35. ANOTHER DIMNESION has a bit to prove in the 4.10 after his modest seventh at Newmarket last month but SECRET HANDSHEIKH (4.42), the final of his four rides, came good at this time last year, and in 2021, and his latest effort – a 28-1 sixth at Bath – suggested that his turn could be near. Fixed odds punters have the option of combining his rides in a multiple bet with Spreadex.
Recommendation: Buy NEIL CALLAN in Yarmouth Jockeys.
GOWRAN PARK 6.10
SUPER CUB wasn’t beaten far when an 8-1 fourth of 15 over 7f at Gowran Park last time and that performance could lure punters in again when he lines up over the same track and trip tonight. Denis Hogan’s four-year-old is extremely difficult to win with, landing just one of his 27 starts, and he can be taken on again. His sole success came on his third outing for Roger Varian and he’s now 0-23 for his current yard. Sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose SUPER CUB in Gowran Park 6.10
