CLASS MEMBER heads the betting at around the 5-2 mark for this 1m fillies’ handicap but the daughter of Charm Spirit looks vulnerable on very soft going. Charm Spirit has the lowest strike-rate of this sort of going of all the sire’s represented and first-time cheekpieces are not certain to help. The three-year-old didn’t look to be crying out for the step up from 7f when only fourth (6-4 favourite) at Chelmsford last time and I’m selling her in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

NOTTINGHAM 4.55
NINE ELMS wasn’t given the greatest ride by Serena Brotherton in an amateur riders’ handicap at Southwell last time, doing too much too soon on the front end before fading into third when a 9-4 joint-favourite. He fared best of those ridden close to the early pace and is now 0-8 on the Tapeta at that venue. Roy Bowring’s eight-year-old will be happier back on turf at Nottingham where his record reads 364117 (2-6). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
