LINGFIELD 5.30
ZHANG FEI has a poor wins-to-runs ratio, scoring just one from 23 starts, but he ran well over 1m4f at Lingfield on his penultimate start, finishing a one-length third under a stalking ride. He trailed home last of nine over the same course and distance next time but took up the running after a furlong and simply did too much too soon in a race dominated by hold-up horses. The first three finishers came from midfield or further back and he could go well if ridden with more restraint this afternoon. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
