Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed BLAZING SON (4th, 7-2) & KRAKEN POWER (5th) on Wednesday and has two bets/trades on Thursday, July 20th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

LEOPARDSTOWN 5.45

At the time of writing SUPER CUB was a general 100-30 shot for this apprentice handicap and he looks worth taking on at those sort of odds. Denis Hogan’s gelding finds it difficult to get his head in front and has scored just once from 25 starts. He looks trip-less and tends to run the same race – i.e. staying on when it’s all but over – whether competing over 5f or 1m.  The four-year-old was only fourth when the 5-2 favourite at Listowel last time and can be sold in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

WORCESTER 7.50

FLYNG STANDARD looks interesting now making his jumps/stable debut on his return from a 295-day layoff. The six-year-old won four times on the Flat for the now-retired Chris Wall and, since May 2022, horses who left his care are five from 12 at the first time of asking for their new handlers (backing them blind would have returned a profit of £15.50 to a £1 level stake at SP). Flying Standard’s new trainer has a good record at Worcester, sending out eight winners from 36 runners for a profit of £20.50, and the six-year-old can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back FLYING STANDARD and Worcester 7.50
