Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew made a good profit with his sell of DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER in the 2.05 at Newbury on Saturday (market made up at 2) and has two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, September 24th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
HAMILTON 2.50
SKI ANGEL, who was trading at around 9-4 when this column went to post, looks short enough in the betting given her one from eight career score. That sole success came in a very weak 5f handicap at Ayr in late July where she had half a length to spare over Bonito Cavalo, unplaced in his four subsequent outings. The third, Burtonlodge Beauty, has blanked in her five runs since that effort while the fourth (0-3), fifth (0-2) and sixth (0-1) have all failed to get on the scoresheet since. Ski Angel herself is lost her three subsequent starts and she’s the joint-slowest horse in today’s six-runner line-up according to Proform’s speed figures. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to try the ACONCAGUA MOUNTAIN/CAPTAIN CORCORAN computer straight forecast.
Recommendation: Oppose SKI ANGEL in Hamilton 2.50
CURRAGH 3.00
OCEAN QUEST bolted up in the Group 3 Ballyogan Stakes at Naas last time and is likely to take some stopping in the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh today. Jessica Harrington’s progressive three-year-old now has form figures below Group 1 level of 132121 (3-6), improving to 1211 (3-4) in fields of 11 or fewer runners, with the defeat by a short head over today’s track and trip. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back OCEAN QUEST in Curragh 3.00
