There’s not much domestic racing to get stuck into on Sunday but I like the look of the Listed 1m Pomfret Stakes at Pontefract as the draw has not been factored into the early prices, even though it can have a big impact in small-field races such as this. Being first to the inside rail looks the key and RAADOBARG, who drops in trip after a respectable non-staying effort in the 1m2f Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot looks the likeliest pace angle from stall 1. His four best RPR’s (Racing Post Ratings) have come over 7.5f-1m1f, including a front-running close-up third to Chindit at Ascot in May. The prevailing good to soft going looks ideal for the son of Night Of Thunder and he can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
