We’re probably not going to see the best of Neil Mulholland’s ANNE BONNY until she goes handicapping but she wasn’t totally disgraced from off the pace when a 100-1 eighth over course and distance in maiden hurdle company last time and she could be worth a small/speculative buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market (or an each-way bet in the fixed odds betting) in this similar race. That latest outing was her first following wind surgery, and her yard does well with runners having their second start after the procedure, scoring with 19 of the 68 qualifiers (28%) for a profit of £30.73.

CURRAGH 4.20
LAUGH A MINUTE made it four wins from five starts on his second run back from a break of at least 90 days when taking the 5f DMG Media Handicap by half a length at the Curragh last month but could be worth opposing this time. The veteran’s record immediately following a win reads 42678 (0-5) and he can be sold in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to back mud-lover DOWNFORCE each-way.
