BEN BULBEN, the first of the yard’s four runners today, has had wind surgery since his 18-1 second at Warwick in March and looks a potential improver this term.

Alastair Ralph-trained chase debutants are profitable to back in handicap company (+£5.00) and first-time out could be when to catch outsider-of-four TAP TAP BOOM. He runs well when fresh, placing third at 20-1 on his comeback last term and going down by just three-quarters of a length when the same price for his 2020/2021 reappearance.

Skelton has scored with 16 of the 72 qualifiers for a profit of £40.13. HIDDEN HEROICS, the outsider of four in this 3m handicap, pulled up over hurdles at Aintree on his reappearance but won his sole point-to-point start and could improve for headgear and the switch to fences.
