Man Utd meet Leeds United in their rescheduled game from September. The game is usual feisty which has had fans questioning why it’s not being shown live in the UK. We’ve got the reason why here.

The two teams were set to meet in September. Due to the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, most sport, including football, stopped over the following weekend. This led to this game, amongst others, being postponed.

The game will be the first meeting between the two sides in the league this season. The reverse fixture at Elland Road will take place this Sunday. Meaning the two sides have the interesting task of meeting twice in less than seven days.

Why Is The Rearranged Game Not On TV?

A meeting of Man Utd and Leeds United usually draws in a big crowd in the stadium and a big TV audience in the UK. However, this game, which is the only midweek Premier League game, isn’t being shown live in the UK.

The reason for this may be unknown to many fans. As the original game wasn’t selected for UK TV, the rescheduled game can’t be shown on TV.

It’ll come as a dissapointment to many as Man Utd are in scintillating form of late. Whereas the visitors Leeds United are in a poor run and have just sacked Jesse Marsch.

It’s set to be a big game, but UK viewers will have to stick to radio commentary for this one.
