In the latest Man United transfer news, the Red Devils are monitoring striking duo Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani as Harry Kane remains Erik ten Hag’s prime target this summer.

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Atalanta’s Danish sensation Rasmus Hojland and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani.

The pair are considered to be backup options if United can’t secure the signature of England captain Harry Kane.

Tottenham‘s Daniel Levy has historically been wary of conducting transfers with rivals, so a move for Kane could ultimately not happen.

But Kolo Muani and Hojland give Erik ten Hag other options, with the pair being significantly younger than Kane.

Muani, 24, is the Bundesliga‘s fifth top-scorer this season, netting on 11 occasions for Eintracht Frankfurt in the league. He has also cemented himself as a starter for the French national side, starting in their most recent wins over the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands.

Memorably, he also went close to winning the World Cup for France in the dying seconds of the match, but for a world class Emiliano Martinez save.

The highly rated Frenchman has only been with Frankfurt for a year, and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2027.

Hojlund, 20, recently put himself in the shop window after netting a hat-trick for Denmark against Finland. He added a further two in their following match as the Danish fell to a shock 3-2 defeat to Kazakhstan.

In his debut season in the Serie A, Hojlund has netted seven and assisted two in Atalanta colours.

Similar to Muani, the Dane is under contract with the Italian side until the summer of 2027. This means a hefty fee will likely be required for United to secure his services.
