Liverpool are prepared to offload Guinea international Naby Keita with several European clubs showing an interest in the 27-year-old midfielder.

Keita signed for the Reds back in 2018 for around £50m after his impressive performances in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig. However due to injury and poor performances the former Leipzig player has failed to make his mark under Jurgen Klopp.

His five-year contract is coming to an end and with no sign of a new deal, it’s looking likely that he will be leaving Merseyside in the summer.

Appearing in only six matches this season, the Guinean has had a torrid time with injuries and made it almost impossible to secure a spot in Liverpool’s midfield. With youngsters Harvey Elliot and Stefan Bajcetic coming into the side, competition has been made harder than ever.

Before signing for Liverpool, the Guinean was on of Europe’s hottest prospects contributing to 32 goals in 71 matches from midfield. He has only managed 18 goal contributions in 127 matches for the Reds which has left Liverpool fans what could have been if it was not for injuries.

According to reports, several clubs have shown an interest in the midfielder, with rumours circulating about a possible move to Galatasary an Borussia Dortmund. As Bellingham is a 5/2 favourite to swap Dortmund for Liverpool, according to UK betting sites, this may see Keita go the other way.
