Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been priced at 11/1 to score a hat-trick in Saturday’s FA Cup Final against Manchester United.

According to the best FA Cup betting sites, the Norwegian’s odds of netting three past David De Gea for the second time this season is 11/1.

Both Haaland and Phil Foden scored hat-tricks in the first meeting between the Manchester rivals this season, winning 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium.

In that game, Haaland became:

  • First player in Premier League history to score hat-tricks in three consecutive home matches
  • Most goal involvements in a single Manchester derby
  • First City player to score a hat-trick against United since Francis Lee in 1970
  • Second youngest City player to score in a league Manchester derby behind Kelechi Iheanacho

He certainly enjoys playing against Erik ten Hag’s side, on a personal level too as his father Alfie Haaland played in this fixture many times and was badly injured by Roy Keane on one occasion.

In all competitions this season, Haaland scored 52 goals in 51 appearances and cemented his name amongst the game’s greatest goalscorers.

City are also hunting for maiden European glory with a Champions League final to follow against Inter Milan next week.

If Pep Guardiola’s side can win it and the FA Cup, that would seal the first treble of its kind since Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United in 1998/99.

The stakes have never been higher for Saturday’s final and backing Haaland to score feels like a safe bet.
