England vs Denmark Tip 1 – Under 2.5 Goals
Group D is finely poised as we head into matchday two.
Both England and Denmark claimed slender one-nil wins in their respective opening games, both of which offered little in the way of inspiration.
The Lionesses were expected to ease into the competition against debutants Haiti, but their opponents had other ideas as they frustrated last summer’s Euro winners.
Although attacking inspiration has been lacking across their last four fixtures, England remain mightily impressive in defence, conceding just three goals in their previous seven.
Denmark are by no means a pushover, but they lacked any real conviction against China in their opener as they could only muster two shots on target – luckily for them, one found the back of the net.
Who is the Favourite to Win the Women’s World Cup 2023?
England vs Denmark Tip 2 – England to Win to Nil
Although we aren’t expecting fireworks in this fixture, we are tipping England to maintain a 100% record.
Under Sarina Wiegman, the Lionesses have won and kept a clean sheet in nearly 60% of their games and are widely expected to top this group without any major hiccups.

More attacking impetus is needed after a frustrating opener, but once the cobwebs have been dusted off and the shackles are removed, there are few teams who can cope with this team in full flow.
England vs Denmark Tip 3 – Georgia Stanway 2 Fouls
Haiti were content to have very little of the ball in England’s opener, but when they managed to regain possession they frustrated Wiegman’s side who committed 17 fouls in total.
Bayern Munich’s Georgia Stanway was typically tenacious in the middle of the park and registered a surprisingly clean game, making four tackles and failing to commit a foul.
However, the nature of her role always leads her to the possibility of committing a foul, and given Denmark are a much more experienced side than Haiti, we can see Stanway having to stop her opponents by any means necessary.
