Qatar has been accused of paying hundreds of locals to sing and dance pretending to be fans of England and other nations.

However, the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee has since rejected the accusations that there is ‘fake fans’ in Doha.

As the Englands coach pulled up to their hotel just south of Doha, they were greeted by hundreds of Indian expats singing “It’s coming home”.

There has been plenty of accusations on social media over the authenticity of the fans seen in the videos online, however they have insisted that they’re real fans.

Videos of Brazil fans and other big nations have also emerged online.

There’s no secret that the upcoming tournament, due to start this weekend in Qatar, is already one of the most controversial tournaments in the competition’s history.

Even the former FIFA president Sepp Blatter has admitted it was a mistake to let the country host the competition, even though he oversaw Qatar win its bid to host.
