Chris Eubank Jr Wars Man United Shirt and Rainbow Armband To Weigh-In
After the controversy of yesterday’s press conference between Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith ‘NextGen’ decided to show his support of the LGBTQ+ community by wearing a rainbow coloured armband whilst weighing in on the scales.
This comes after some comments made by Liam Smith yesterday in which he insinuated that Eubank Jr was gay but was afraid to admit it. Today, the 33-year-old Brighton man has clearly shown his support to the LGBTQ+ community by sporting the armband and wearing it when millions of people around the world are watching him weigh-in ahead of one of the biggest fights of his life.
Eubank Jr also turned up in a Manchester United top, perhaps to try and get under Liam Smith’s skin who is a Liverpool fan. Who knows if it will have worked or not, but the mind games are certainly continuing ahead of tomorrow’s mega-fight.

Eubank Jr and Smith Both Weigh-In At 159-Pounds
Both Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith have successfully weighed-in ahead of their mammoth bout tomorrow night at the Manchester Arena. The weigh-in took place via a boxing live stream on Sky Sports Boxing’s YouTube channel.
The Liverpudlian was first to the scales as he weighed-in at a ready 159-pounds (11st 5lbs). This is Smith’s second fight in a row up at middleweight, after having competed for most of his career at super-welterweight (154-pounds).

‘NextGen’ was next to the scales and also came in at exactly the same weight. Although Eubank Jr has campaigned up at super-middleweight before, he has fought at middleweight for the majority of his career.

Both men were in tip-top shape and are ready to do battle tomorrow night.
There has been a lot of needle between the pair in the build up to the fight. Yesterday in particular was a feisty affair as things got personal between the two men at the final press conference before fight night. Now though, all of the talking and pre-fight build up is done.
