Ian Wright has urged Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag to make a stunning offer for Harry Kane in the Summer transfer window, with Anthony Martial included as part of the deal.

Harry Kane announced earlier this week that he would be open to signing a new deal with Tottenham however former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright has urged the Spurs captain to consider a move to Manchester in the Summer.

“When you look at United’s trajectory and where they are moving, get Harry Kane for three years. United will definitely do something because they’re not a million miles away right now.”

“If United came in now, let’s say they put £60m on the table and throw in Anthony Martial… that’s a very good deal.

“I think Spurs fans will say ‘good luck Harry’. If Manchester United have got serious thoughts about what they need next, it’s a No. 9. For me, it seems like a no-brainer to go for Harry Kane. He takes them somewhere else. It’s that kind of signing.”

Harry Kane has scored 16 goals this season for Spurs and is now just one goal away from breaking the 200 goal mark in the Premier League and with Alan Shearers all time record of 260 goals looming on the horizon, the Spurs captain may be forced to move away from North London to achieve the record.

Manchester United have struggled with striker problems all season and while Wout Weghorst may fit as a temporary forward, the Red Devils are in desperate need for someone to lead the line if they are to challenge for the title.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright is suggesting that United invest in Harry Kane with a player trade plus cash deal, as Anthony Martial would leave Old Trafford at the expense of the England captain’s arrival.

Harry Kane’s contract with Tottenham is set to expire in 2024 so should United be interested in a move for the striker they will have to act quick as Spurs try to keep their superstar.
