Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Juventus star, Adrien Rabiot, despite the Frenchman being linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Gunners have had a superb campaign under Mikel Arteta, as they will finish second in the Premier league after pushing Manchester City all the way.

Arteta’s side were top of the table for large parts of the season, but draw against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton, derailed any chance of winning the title.

Champions League football will return to the Emirates for the first time in seven years, making the Gunners an attractive club this summer.

The side from north London are reportedly eyeing-up a variety of additions, with Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and Adrien Rabiot all being linked with a move to the Emirates.

Rabiot, who is out of contract this summer, has been targeted by Manchester United and Arsenal are now joiing their Premier League rivals in the race to land the Frenchman.

The France international has made 30 appearances in the league this season, scoring eight goals in the process. He has previously played for PSG and has established himself in Europe’s top leagues.

Erik ten Hag almost signed the 28-year-old last summer, however a dispute between the club and Rabiot’s representatives stopped any deal from materialising.

However, with the Frenchman’s contract expiring this summer, the Juventus star could be on the move and both clubs are on the hunt for a midfielder.

United have been linked with a host of midfield options, as Frenkie de Jong, Alexis Mac Allister and Mason Mount have all been targeted by the Red Devils.

On the other hand, Arsenal are set to lose club captain, Granit Xhaka, who is reportedly close to joining Bayer Leverkusen. Meaning a midfield additon, like Rabiot, could be crucial for the club’s chances next season.
