The fixture list for April has been revealed, and when combining the matches from the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League and the FA Cup, fans have got a hefty month of football viewing in store.

Following the culmination of March’s international window, football fans are excited for the return of club football.

And what a month of fixtures there is for fans of the Premier League, as well as fans of European football.

With seven rounds of Premier League matches, both legs of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League quarter-final ties, and both FA Cup semi-final ties, it’s a jam-packed month of football action.


Premier League

The seven rounds of Premier League action will kick-off with a banger, as Manchester City play hosts to Liverpool in the early kick-off on Saturday.

Matches will be spread throughout the weekends as well as in midweek to keep fans entertained.

Here are some of the notable fixtures in April.

  • Sunday 2nd: Newcastle United vs Manchester United (16:30 KO)

Champions League

Europe’s most prestigious competition also returns this month, alongside it’s two sister competitions.

After the completion of the last-16 ties last month, we’re now into the quarter-finals, with two-legs to decide this year’s final four in the competition.

Below are the Champions League quarter-finals fixtures.

Europa League

The second tier European competition is another that’s back in action this month.

Following Arsenal’s exit to Sporting in the last-16 just one English club remains – Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag’s side face a tough task against La Liga opposition as they take on Sevilla for a spot in the semi-finals.

The fixtures are as follows.

Europa Conference League

UEFA’s newest European competition returns to action in April too, as the quarter-finals get underway.

Just one English side remain in the tournament, as David Moyes looks to lead West Ham to European glory.

Here are the quarter-final ties in the Europa Conference League.

England’s oldest competition is back towards the end of April as well, as the last four will battle it out for a spot in the final.

The ties will take place in Wembley, with three Premier League sides remaining, as well as one Championship side.
