Things are hotting-up in the Premier League relegation betting market. There are just seven points separating the bottom side Southampton and Nottm Forest in 13th, with Everton right in the thick of things too. So, let’s look at Everton’s next five Premier League games – to see if they can claw themselves out of danger.

Everton Are Third from Bottom And Just ‘Evs’ To Be Relegated

The Toffees are one of just six sides that have never been relegated from the Premier League, but that long-standing record looks in danger again.

Everton managed to dodge the ‘relegation bullet’ last season thanks to 10 points from their last 6 matches.

But after a 4-0 thumping by Arsenal in midweek they are in real trouble again. That defeat has seen Sean Dyche’s side remain third from bottom, with the best UK betting sites now making Everton ‘Evs’ to be relegated.

What are Everton’s Next Five Premier League Games?

Things don’t get much easier for Everton, with only two of their next five games at home. Add in the fact they’ve also got to face Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United in this next run of games, then things are looking very ‘sticky’ for the Toffees.

Could now be the time to back Everton to be relegated?

  • Nottingham Forest vs EVERTON (Sunday 5th March)

First up is a trip to Forest, who are only four points ahead of Everton in the table. Therefore, an old classic ‘six pointer’ match here, while the sides met at Goodison Park back in August which ended 1-1.

  • EVERTON vs Brentford (Saturday 11th March)

Brentford have been having a great season, so despite having home advantage here this is another tricky clash for Everton. It was 1-1 when they faced-off back in August, while Brentford have the overall better league H2H record with 9 wins to Everton’s 7.

  • Chelsea vs EVERTON (Saturday 18th March)

Things get harder for Sean Dyche’s men now. An away trip to Chelsea will be their last league game in March. Chelsea won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Goodison last August and are 27 league games unbeaten at home to Everton! You have to go back to 1994 to find the last time Everton got three points away at Chelsea.

  • EVERTON vs Tottenham (Saturday 1st April)

Tottenham are next up, but with Spurs in a dogfight for a ‘top four’ slot this adds to the pressure here. The London side also saw off Everton 2-0 in the reverse clash in October and are unbeaten in their last 9 away to Everton in the league. Interestingly, the last 3 repeat fixtures have ALL been draws.

  • Manchester United vs EVERTON (Saturday 8th April)

The final team that Everton will face in their next run of 5 league games is in-form Manchester United. This will be the third time they’ve played this season, having met in the FA Cup too. United have won both head-to-heads this term, with the league clash at Goodison ending 1-2 to the Red Devils. Man Utd are also 8 games unbeaten in this this fixture – with the last three all being draws.
