The Premier League has been renowned for having the best players in the world, boasting skill, tricks and flair. But who is currently the best dribbler in England’s top division?
Best Dribblers In The Premier League 2023/34
All stats per SofaScore (dribbles per 90)
5. Luca Koleosho – Burnley (2.4)
The Burnley winger ranks fifth in the best Premier League dribbler standings, completing 2.4 dribbles per game and completing 47% of his dribble attempts.
So far, the 19-year-old has registered one assist in 12 appearances for Vincent Kompany’s side – who currently sit bottom of the table.
The teenager is yet to score his first goal in England’s top-flight, but has established himself as one of the first names on Burnley’s team sheet.
4. Marucs Tavernier – Bournemouth (2.4)
Bournemouth have seen an increase in performances over recent weeks, beating Newcastle in their last league fixture by two goals to nil.
One player that has impressed is Marcus Tavernier, who comes in at fourth place for best dribblers in the Premier League – averaging 2.4 dribbles per match.
The 24-year-old has also completed 71% of his dribbles, which is why he ranks higher than Koleosho and Tavernier has also contributed with one assist this season.
3. Matheus Cunha – Wolves (2.6)
Completing 2.6 dribbles per match, Matheus Cunha has proved to be one Wolves’ most dangerous players and is beginning to justify his £43m price tag.
The Brazilian has contributed to four goals this season (2G+2A), while also completing 54% of his dribbles so far in the Premier League.
A big criticism for Cunha has been his ruthlessness in front of goal, missing three big chances already this season – including a huge chance against Manchester United.
2. Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace (3.4)
Falling just short of the number one spot is Crystal Palace star, Eberechi Eze, who continues to rise as one of England’s biggest assets.
Completing 3.4 dribbles per match, the former QPR midfielder earned an improved contract at Selhurst Park – but is expected to seal a big move soon.
The England international missed three matches through injury and Roy Hodgson’s side failed to pick up a single victory during his absence.
The 25-year-old has completed 62% of his dribbles and is regarded as one of the trickiest players to deal with in the Premier League.
1. Jeremy Doku – Manchester City (3.4)
Coming in as the best dribbler in the Premier League is Manchester City’s latest superstar, Jeremy Doku, who has made an electric start to his career at the Etihad.
Contributing to seven goals in nine Premier League appearances (2G+5A), the former Stade Rennais player has all but taken Jack Grealish’s spot on the left wing.
In Manchester City’s 6-1 victory over Bournemouth, Doku scored and contributed with four assists – dropping one of the performances of the season.
