The Premier League have a lot of decorated players including the likes of Casemiro and Thiago. Here’s the full top 10 list of most successful players in the league.
10 – Kyle Walker
Makes sense they’ll be a lot Manchester City players here and we’re starting off with their trusty right-back. He’s won the league with Manchester City five times – 15 trophies with the club overall.
9 – Phil Foden
Phil Foden with the same amount of senior trophies as Walker but Foden get’s the edge here due to age. Foden did also lift the U17s World Cup for England.
8th – Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic
Both the same age so no separating the two here. They both have 20 trophies to their name and with Kovacic having joined Manchester City in the summer from Chelsea, it seems as though they’ll be stuck on the same amount going forward.
6th – De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne is coming towards the latter stages of his career now at 32 but he’s had such a wonderful career. 21 trophies to his name and is the currently the longest-serving Manchester City player in the squad.
5th – Ederson
Ederson has become one of the best goalkeepers in the world under Pep Guardiola. He won six trophies with Benfica before moving to Manchester City in 2017 to collect 15 more.
4th – Raphael Varane
Alas, our first non Manchester City player. Although, still a Manchester player. Varane is a World Cup winner and a Real Madrid legend which sees him at a whopping 22 trophies. One of them is with Manchester United. It came last season when they beat Newcastle 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.
3rd – Casemiro
Another Real Madrid legend here on 23 trophies and that’s Casemiro. He may be receiving some stick for his recent performances in red but Casemiro has proved himself time and time again as a more than capable defensive midfielder.
2nd – Thiago Silva
Most of Thiago Silva’s 33 trophies have come at PSG where he spent eight years of his career. He gained 23 trophies during his time in France with the other 10 trophies coming internationally and at AC Milan. He also won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup with Chelsea.
1st – Thiago
Some would argue this man has spent most of his career injured but that hasn’t stopped him sweeping a monstrous amount of trophies. 35 all together, with most coming at his time at Bayern Munich and Barcelona. He does have two trophies with Liverpool – the Carabao and FA Cup.
