There’s plenty of early pace in this 1m2f handicap despite it featuring only six runners and it could be teed up nicely for course expert SOTO SIZZLER. The market is dominated by three-year-olds NAXOS and BURGLAR but both wear hoods, have failed to register a handicap win from three attempts and are clearly not entirely straightforward. Soto Sizzler finished last of 12 on his latest outing but that was when 33-1 on the all-weather (he’s 0-6 on synthetics) and is best judged on his Epsom form figures of 1122123 (3-7) and he drops down to Class 3 level for the first time since his Newmarket win off a 1lb higher mark in October 2021. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

FFOS LAS 5.50
At the time of writing BRANDY STATION was trading as the outsider of the field for this 5f handicap, understandably so if judged on his modest efforts on Southwell’s Tapeta the last twice. However, the return to Ffos Las could spark Lisa Williamson’s veteran back to life, as his record here reads 1313 (2-4), with the defeats by 1.25L and 1.5L Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.
