Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew made a good profit with his buy of Popmaster |(2nd) on Saturday and has two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, September 10th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
CURRAGH 1.50
Low draws have enjoyed the best of things in the “Bold Lad” Sprint Handicap at the Curragh in recent years, with seven of the last ten winners drawn in single-figure stalls. Eight of those renewals featured 20 or more runners and backing all those drawn in stalls 1-9 would have found six winners for a profit of £56.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. The majority of the pace is on the far side and it could be difficult for those drawn very high to get into it, suggesting a sell of DOUBLE DRAW OF WINNER with Spreadex could pay dividends. Fixed odds punters might want to side with DANDYVILLE (stall 6), an eyecatcher at Dundalk last time.
Recommendation: Sell DOUBLE DRAW OF WINNER in Curragh 1.50
CURRAGH 2.25
Early pace has proved to be a crucial ingredient in 1m-1m4f contests at the Curragh this season and the consistent UNLESS could be hard to catch in the Moyglare “Jewels” Blandford Stakes. Aidan O’Brien’s three-year-old was taken on from a long way out when a three-quarters of a length second to Layfayette in a Group 3 over coure and distance last time but was over four lengths clear of the next prominent racer to finish and, though up in class, could face less pace pressure this afternoon. Stall 1 is ideal and she has a good record since stepped up beyond 7f, recording form figures of 2214212 (2-7), with the fourth place in a 29-runner handicap at Royal Ascot. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back her each-way.
Recommendation: Back UNLESS in Curragh 1.50
