Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the afternoon meetings at Goodwood and Bangor for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, September 5th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
BANGOR 3.00
COURT MASTER has a fine record when competing over fences in Class 3 or lower company, recording form figures of 111411 (5-6) for a profit of £18.58 to a £1 level stake at SP. Neil Mulholland’s ten-year-old found one too good in a Class 2 handicap chase at Uttoxeter last time but drops down a notch in grade today and can go one better. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back COURT MASTER in Bangor 3.00
GOODWOOD 4.30
Andrew Balding hasn’t got an especially good record when fitting one of his runners with a first-time hood, scoring with just 13 of the 186 qualifiers (7.0% strike-rate) for a loss of £112.63 to a £1 level stake at SP. However, those who were beaten but finished within three lengths of the winner often make good bets next time out if the headgear is retained, landing ten of their 33 starts (+£3.22). Ten of the beaten horses ran second or third and LOPE DE LIGHT, best of those ridden patiently when a close-up 22-1 third at Chelmsford on last month’s debut, looks worth a punt. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back LOPE DE LIGHT in Goodwood 4.30
