CHEPSTOW 4.35
STAR MAP could only finish a 12-length tenth of 14 at Newcastle on her handicap debut earlier this month but she started at 33-1 and was always playing catch-up after Paul Mulrennan was slow to remove her blindfold. May’s soft-ground runner-up effort at Doncaster suggests there are races in her and it’s interesting to see star apprentice Billy Loughnane take over in the saddle. The return to easy ground will suit and she can be bought in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market with Spreadex or backed each-way.

SOUTHWELL 5.00
The early prices for division two of this 6f handicap don’t seem to have taken the draw into account and DEPUTISE, winner of a course and distance classified contest last time out and the 3-1 favourite at the time of writing, is no good thing to follow up from stall 13 of 14. BREATH CATCHER (stall 14) and IRISH DESSSERT (stall 12) also occupy positions in the first six in the market and a sell of DOUBLE DRAW OF WINNER with Spreadex is the advice.
