Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew’s buy of Ripon winner EY UP IT’S MAGGIE produced a good profit on Monday and he has two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, August 8th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
CATTERICK 4.35
YAZAMAN found only one too good in a 5f handicap at Pontefract last time but that took his record to just one win from 33 starts and, from what could be a tough draw to overcome in stall 3 of 12, he looks worth opposing in this 6f contest. Sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market. With the ground very much on the soft side, they’re likely to explore the near side rail in the straight, favouring those drawn high and that could help LANGHOLM, who could prove to be the best option for fixed odds punters.
Recommendation: Oppose YAZAMAN in Catterick 4.35
CHELMSFORD 7.50
Tony Carroll is a shrewd operator and his runners often take advantage of the plum draw in stall 1 at Chelmsford. He’s won with nine of his 42 course runners who had the inside berth (21.4% strike-rate) and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £32.30 to a £1 level stake at SP. Fourteen of the 33 beaten horses finished second or third and MY SAND BOY appeals as a speculative buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Alternatively, he can be backed each-way in the fixed odds market. Neil Callan, 18 from 99 for the yard on the all-weather, is a positive jockey booking.
Recommendation: Back MY SAND BOY in Chelmsford 7.50
