Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew found Galway Plate winner ASH TREE MEADOW on Wednesday and heads to Glorious Goodwood and Stratford for his two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, August 3rd. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
STRATFORD 2.33
As a general rule, form from Worcester does not translate well to Stratford. Since the beginning of 2007, had we backed all last-time-out Worcester winner who were now running at Stratford we’d have backed just 18 winners from 118 bets (15.3%) and made a loss of £54.53 to a £1 level stake at SP (-46.2% on turnover). Both TIGER ORCHID and MOLE COURT fall into this category and, at the time of writing, they were trading at 6-4 and 2-1 respectively for this novices’ handicap chase. Buying SP OF WINNER with Spreadex could be the best way to oppose the pair.
Recommendation: Buy SP OF WINNER in Stratford 2.33
GOODWOOD 2.25
HALA EMARAATY was only fourth of seven in a 5f Listed race at Sandown last time but probably did too much too soon from stall 1, not the ideal draw over that course and distance nowadays. Alice Haynes’ juvenile was a soft-ground winner at Ripon on his debut before accounting for Big Evs at Redcar, albeit from a better draw than the runner-up who was making his debut. Hala Emeraaty finished behind that rival in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot but his 50-1 seventh of 23 was no disgrace on ground that was plenty quick enough. He looks ready for the step up to 6f and the recent rain is in his favour. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back HALA EMERAATY in Goodwood 2.25
