Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed SAGA (5th, 9-1) on Tuesday and has three recommended bets/trades at Royal Ascot and Newcastle on Wednesday (June 21st). Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

ASCOT DOUBLE DRAW

Wednesday morning’s GoingStick report from Ascot suggests that the ground on the stands’ side is quicker than the centre/far side and, with that strip being largely unexplored on Tuesday, it won’t have been opened up as much. We could see the bias flip from low to high draws on the straight track and a buy of the Spreadex DOUBLE DRAW index looks warranted. The Royal Hunt Cup (5.00) could be the key to profit and we’ll have the likes of fancied horses PEROTTO (stall 30), INTELLOGENT (stall 31), AWAAL (stall 29) and OUZO (stall 27), one of my each-way angles, on our side. Even in the races on the round course – I’m especially thinking of the 1m Kensington Palace Fillies’ Handicap (3.05) – we could see high draws holding sway. Pace angle ROMAN MIST (stall 15) could get a relatively easy time of things on the front end, while TAMARAMA (stall 19) and INDIAN WISH (stall 17) are also on my shortlist.

Recommendation: Buy ASCOT DOUBLE DRAW with Spreadex

ASCOT 3.40

JUMBLY looks a solid favourite in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes over the straight mile at Royal Ascot today. The daughter of Gleneagles, a four-time winner for the Charlton yard, was a big eyecatcher on her stable debut at the Curragh late last month, finishing second under a patient ride in the Group 2 Lanwade Stud Stakes when it was a huge advantage to race up with the pace (the winner made all). She was keen that day on her first run for ten months and there should be improvement to come. The four-year-old has plenty of form on straight tracks and scored over the round mile here on her final run for her old yard. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back JUMBLY in Ascot 3.40

NEWCASTLE 6.50

TAHASUN has run shockers on turf the last twice, finishing a 14-length last of six at Lingfield after last month’s 12th of 12 at Pontefract, but the return to the all-weather could help in this 1m2f handicap. Henry Spiller’s filly has hardly beaten a rival in four runs on turf for her current yard but has form figures on synthetics of 3232144210 (2-10). The daughter of Tamayuz is bred to relish Tapeta but only two of those ten runs came on such a surface, resulting in a neck second and a staying-on fourth, both at Wolverhampton. Newcastle will suit and she can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or backed each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back TAHASUN in Newcastle 6.50
