Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew found 13-2 Catterick winner QUERCUS on Saturday and has two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, June 11th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

BEVERLEY 6.15

Since taking over the licence in his own name, trainer Charlie Johnston hasn’t got the greatest record with last-time out winners. Only six of the 60 qualifiers have followed up and backing them blind would have resulted in a loss of £47.45 to a £1 level stake at SP. AUSTRIAN THEORY landed a valuable handicap at Epsom last time but may have been flattered – he was allowed to dominate that day – and he faces competition for the early lead today. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose AUSTRIAN THEORY in Beverley 6.15

BEVERLEY 6.45

FAIRMAC, another Charlie Johnston-trained runner, could be worth a punt in Beverley’s finale. The five-year-old was only sixth of 12 at Hamilton last time but he was only beaten by a little over three lengths and actually did best of those to race up with the early pace (the five who finished in front of him were described by the Racing Post as ‘steadied start, held up in rear’, ‘midfield’, ‘midfield’ and ‘towards rear’ and ‘held up in rear’). He’s well drawn in stall 1 and can be bought in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or backed each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back FAIRMAC in Beverley 6.45
