Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed Ludo’s Landing (8th, 5-2f) on Wednesday and two recommended bets/trades  on Thursday, June 8th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

UTTOXETER 2.40

I have to question the wisdom of Fergal O’Brien’s GETTHEPOT running on a left-handed track again, as he hated going this way round when 10-11 favourite for a three-runner novices’ handicap chase at Fakenham on his latest start. He jumped slightly out to his right at the second fence, markedly out to his right at the third and the trait got worse throughout the three-mile contest. He had no answer to Dan’s Chosen, who jumped well on the favourite’s inside and, after looking set for a very modest second, refused at the final fence. The eight-year-old won left-handed over hurdles but his record this way round over the larger obstacles reads 3FR (0-3), compared to right-handed figures of 1221 (2-4). The 225-day absence could also be an issue and my advice is to sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose GETTHEPOT in Uttoxeter 2.40

CHELMSFORD 6.20

Andrew Balding has a modest record when fitting one of his runners with a hood for the first time, scoring with just 12 of the 172 qualifiers (7% strike-rate) for a loss of £101.63 to a £1 level stake at SO (expected winners = 19.16). The fillies are just two from 68 (-£54.00) and OPERA FOREVER, not best drawn in stall 9, could be worth opposing now that she sports the headgear on her reappearance. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose OPERA FOREVER in Chelmsford 6.20
