With all the domestic campaigns done and dusted, it is time for every club to focus on the transfer market and improve their chances of doing well next season.

Eric Bailly

Manchester United close in on Villarreal’s Eric Bailly

Manchester United are in talks with Villarreal to complete a 32 million pounds move for 22 year old centre back Eric Bailly.

The young defender has been outstanding for the La Liga outfit this season and is closing in on a dream move to Manchester United. According to Daily Mirror, the personal terms with the player has not been agreed yet, but it won’t be a problem. AS are claiming that a deal has been agreed between the two clubs.

Bailly could be Mourinho’s first signing as the Manchester United manager. The Red Devils desperately need a left sided centre back and Bailly would be a fantastic addition. He formed a formidable partnership alongside Ruiz last season.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy set for Arsenal medical

Leicester City superstar Jamie Vardy is close to completing his move to Arsenal this summer.

The England international scored 24 goals in the Premier league last season as Leicester were crowned champions. Wenger has already triggered Vardy’s release clause and the striker is set for a medical with Arsenal later today.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri also confirmed the rumours that Vardy is headed to Arsenal for around 29 million pounds this summer.

Ronald Koeman set for Everton move

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is all set to join Everton this summer.

The Dutch manager did a fantastic job with the Saints over the last two seasons and will be tasked with reviving the Toffees now.

Under new ownership, Everton will be hoping to cement their place amongst the English elite once again. Koeman is expected to earn around 6 million pounds per season at Goodison Park and will now need to convince his star players to stay.

Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move away and it will be quite a challenge for Koeman to convince him to stay. Furthermore, reports state that Koeman will have around 100 million pounds to spend on transfers this summer.

Basti

Manchester United ready to let go of Schweinsteiger

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger could be sold this summer according to Daily Mirror.

The German is away on international duty right now and has had a poor debut season with the Premier League giants. Schweinsteiger’s first season in England was plagued with injuries and it is understood that Mourinho could get rid of him.

The Old Trafford outfit are looking to sign the likes of Gomes, Pjanic and wanting to gett Schweinsteiger’s considerable wages off their books might not be such a bad idea.
