Juventus defender Merih Demiral could be on his way out of the Italian club this summer.

According to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), the Italian outfit are willing to cash in on the 23-year-old to raise funds for their own signings.

Demiral has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at Juve and has had a disappointing Euro 2020 tournament with Turkey.

However, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are keen on signing the defender this summer.

SL View: Could be a solid addition for both Premier League clubs

Both Premier League clubs need defensive reinforcements, and Demiral could develop into a quality player for them.

He needs regular game time to regain his confidence and is unlikely to get that opportunity with Juventus.

Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez has been linked with a move away from the London club, and Demiral could be his replacement.

Everton need to find a solid defensive partner for Ben Godfrey, and the Turkish international fits the profile.

Juventus’ asking price is unknown, but it would be fair to assume that he will be available for a reasonable fee given his situation.

He’s clearly not a key player for the Italian giants, and his suitors are unlikely to cough up a premium.
