After a lot of speculations, Luis Suarez’s transfer fee from Liverpool to Barcelona has finally been revealed. The La Liga champions paid Liverpool a sum of 65 million pounds for the Uruguayan striker back in 2014.
Suarez’s contract (leaked recently) also shows that Barcelona still owe Liverpool a final payment of around 13 million pounds in July 2016.
The former Anfield hitman has scored 67 goals since joining the Catalan giants and is widely regarded as the best striker in the world right now.
Meanwhile, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has claimed that he would welcome a chance of playing under Jose Mourinho.
Despite his lack of chances at Chelsea, Lukaku claimed that the situation has changed now and he is a much-improved player. The Belgian is keen on playing in the Champions League next season and confirmed that he could leave Goodison Park this summer.
Manchester United are in need of a number nine and Lukaku could be a perfect addition to the Old Trafford giants.
Furthermore, Jose Mourinho is expected to take over from Louis Van Gaal at the end of the season.
The player’s father has also confirmed that he wants his son to play for Manchester United or Bayern Munich. Considering the fact that Bayern do not need a starting striker right now, Manchester United could be clear favourites to sign Lukaku this summer.
Finally, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants a move to a London club according to Swedish journalist Olof Lundh.
The PSG striker has been linked with a move to Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal. The likes of Arsenal and Chelsea will certainly be encouraged by these comments. Both teams need another striker and Ibrahimovic would be a world class addition.
It will be interesting to see if the 34-year-old decides to come to the Premier League for one last challenge at the very top level.
