Tottenham legend David Ginola has said that he expects the saga of Radamel Falcao to flare up again in the near future, with the Premier League still a highly desirable destination for the Colombian striker.
Falcao, who’s World Cup dreams are severely under threat due to a crippling knee injury, has been perenially linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Manchester United said to be very interested in procuring the 27-year-old.

Former winger Ginola, speaking to the Daily Star, said,
“Everybody wants to come and play in England,”
“When he had the choice and decided to go to Monaco, I was surprised in the first place,”
“I expected him to go to one of the clubs in England but he’s still young and he has plenty of options in his career,”
“His future could lie in Spain, Monaco or England. It’s too early to decide his future now but, why not [move]? Everyone wants to play in England,”
“He could play for anyone.”
Falcao moved to the principality last summer in a blockbuster £50m deal, and has been a success so far, bagging 11 goals in just 19 games for Claudio Ranieri’s side.
But rumours of discontent have arisen ever since he pitched up, with reported wage issues and a public clash with Ranieri both serving to add fuel to the fire.
If he were to push for a move in the summer, there would be no shortage of suitors, but considering his contract still has four more years left to run, Monaco would be in the driving seat concerning his price, and they would not let him leave for cheap.
What do you think? Will Falcao make the move to the Premier League this summer? Let me know in the comments below…
