West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass has praised manager Manuel Pellegrini in spite of the club’s disastrous start to the season.

The Hammers have so far lost all four of their Premier League games played thus far.

They have yet to record a point, remain the only side to not do so and are rooted to the bottom of the standings.

Up next weekend for the Hammers is a tough away assignment against Everton and it would not be surprising to see Pellegrini sacked if they lose the game.

As it stands, the Chilean is the favorite to be the first manager to be sacked this season.

After avoiding the drop last season, the Hammers brought in Pellegrini to replace David Moyes.

This have so far not gone according to plan for the East Londoners and if they do not rectify the situation soon, they could be set for yet another relegation battle.

In spite of the club’s poor start to the season, Snodgrass is convinced that Pellegrini is the right man for the job.

As quoted by The Scottish Herald, the 31-year-old said: “I’m working with one of the best managers. He’s won the Premier League(with Manchester City) and managed in La Liga and I can only learn from people like that. He’s been great with me, he’s always talking to me. That was the case from the off.”
