Arsenal denied a legitimate goal, Manchester United helped by referees again

Another week of Premier League action and another week of Blackburn Rovers and Steve Bennett getting involved in Right Result rulings.

It’s the third match they’ve each have had Right Result involvement already this term with both parties coming together in Manchester United’s visit to Ewood Park… much to the ire of Blackburn boss Paul Ince.

And for the second week in a row, United have prospered from a generous refereeing decision as Wes Brown’s opener should have been chalked off for Nemanja Vidic impeding Rovers keeper Jason Brown.

Elsewhere, Arsenal speed merchant Theo Walcott was too quick for the ref’s assistant at Sunderland.

The England hero used his pace to stop the whole of the ball going out of play before supplying Robin Van Persie for his erroneously disallowed goal.
