Few people remember that as recently as December, Liverpool were being ridiculed and were considered scrappers for 4th spot and certain casualties at the hand of Barcelona. Today, most people will only remember that Liverpool played a good game in Athens before losing to AC Milan in the Champions League final, and that Liverpool were a comfortable 3rd in the Premiership.
The story is quite similar for most other clubs. As part of the SL season review, we’re not just looking at the end result (because that means little in terms of predicting next year’s performances), we’re looking at the whole season.
For each club, there are 5 things we’re looking at:
- Pre-season expectations
- Season evaluation
- The Big Negative
- The Big Positive
- Summer Priority
If you have an alternative viewpoint on any of the clubs’ season review, you can easily copy off the list above and add your own club review in the comments.
