Liverpool will take on Everton on Tuesday night at the Anfield in the Merseyside Derby, where the Reds will be hoping to get three full three points and consolidate their position in top four.

The Reds are largely frustrated by their lack of movements in the transfer market, but manager Brendan Rodgers insists his team will be extra motivated to secure the Champions League spot.

Everton have really progress under their new manager Roberto Martinez and are only one point behind Liverpool. So, a victory for the Toffees would take them in top four spot for the first this season.

Liverpool are missing several players for this tie. In defence, Mamadou Sakho will still miss out through injury, which means Skrtel and Kolo Toure will have to take control at the back. Martin Kelly could start on the right back role in absence of Glen Johnson while young Jon Flanagan could replace Cissokho on the left back role.

Rodgers confirmed that Allen has trained but he won’t risk him if the Welshman is not fully fit. Therefore expect, Henderson and Gerrard to start in midfield.

Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge to start upfront, with Coutinho and Sterling supporting them from behind.

Prediction: Liverpool are undefeated in their last 15 home matches against Everton in all competitions. Plus, they are undefeated in their last 8 home matches in the Premier League. So, expect a narrow 2-1 victory for the home side.
