Chelsea will travel to Villa Park on Saturday to face Aston Villa, looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

With Champions League football coming up next week, Jose Mourinho might be tempted to rest some of his key players. However, with both Liverpool and Arsenal having tough fixtures this weekend, Chelsea could go 10 points clear at the top, should all the results go in their favour.

The key decision for Mourinho would be whether to stick with the 4-3-3 formation or deploy his favourite 4-2-3-1 system.

The back four should remain the same, but David Luiz may be pushing for a recall, should he pass a late fitness test. Nemanja Matic is sure to start, as he is ineligible for the Champions League tie.

Oscar may come in to the side, if Mourinho prefers a 4-2-3-1 formation. Fernando Torres could return to the squad ahead of schedule, but will probably not be risked, while Demba Ba may also come in contention, having scored a brace against Spurs last time out.

This could be another possible Chelsea line-up, if Mourinho goes with a 4-3-3 formation.

Prediction: 1-2 – Chelsea have won their last 4 matches against Aston Villa in all competitions and expect the Blues to earn all three points on Saturday as well.
