Arsenal take on Coventry City in the fourth round of the FA Cup tie at the Emirates on Friday night.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has revealed in the press conference that he would field a strong team against Coventry. He reminded:

Per Mertesacker

“Blackburn was the first time in 16 years that we lost against lower league opposition in the FA Cup, so that was a great warning.”

In the defence, Wenger can hardly make enough chances. With Monreal and Vermaelen injured at the moment, the Frenchman will have to stick with trusted partnership of Mertesacker and Koscielny. Carl Jenkinson may start at right back in place of Bacary Sagna.

Wenger in his press conference revealed today that Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky will not take part in this fixture. Hence, expect Flamini to partner Jack Wilshere in the middle of the park tomorrow.

Nicklas Bendtner has been included in the squad and the Danish striker could start as a lone striker, with Podolski and Cazorla operating behind him.

Prediction: 3-1; Arsenal will earn a convincing victory and will move into the next round without any difficulty.
