Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League after the Blues earned a convincing 3-0 victory against Newcastle United.

Eden Hazard, the Belgium winger, scored a magnificent hat-trick as the Blues capitalized on the early slip-up from Arsenal, who were humiliated 5-1 at Anfield by Liverpool.

Hazard gave the lead in the 27th min, after he met a low cross from Ivanovic, leaving Krul no chance of saving it.

He got his third in the second half, scoring from the penalty after Samuel Eto’o was fouled. Hazard slotted home with great aplomb.
