Tottenham attacker Shayon Harrison has revealed that Harry Kane is a big inspiration for him.

The highly rated youngster is currently out on loan at Melbourne City and he is looking to improve his game with regular first team football under his belt.

Harrison will be hoping to convince Mauricio Pochettino that he deserves a first team break in future.

The Spurs man is enjoying a productive loan spell right now and he will have to impress the Londoners in order to earn a new deal at the club.

His current contract expires at the end of this season and he could be released by the Premier League club.

Speaking to the A-League website, Harrison revealed that he has learned a lot during the training sessions alongside Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen.

He said: “Harry’s is such a great example. Just how hard he works off the ball, his movement is incredible, he’s really aware of his surroundings and how to beat his defender. Obviously his finishing is second to none as well. He’s just a big inspiration for me. It’s something you look up to every day in training and it’s a habit you want to get into yourself. But Spurs have some of the best players in the world. Christian Eriksen as well. Just seeing those guys every day on the training ground, you pick up so much in such a short space of time.”

The attacker is clearly a fan of the Tottenham duo and he will be hoping to follow in their footsteps one day.
